I’ve been working on something big behind the scenes for 2026, and I am finally ready to say it out loud.

After years of mentoring, listening, supporting and championing class based business owners across the UK, I am launching something this industry has never had before. A national awards programme created specifically to celebrate the people behind the classes.

Welcome to The Class Business Awards 2026.

Every week I speak to incredible entrepreneurs who educate, entertain and inspire children and adults. Dance teachers, coaches, tutors, creatives, wellbeing leaders. People who pour their heart into their business, often with very little recognition beyond a timetable and a booking system.

I’ve seen the graft. I’ve heard the stories. I’ve watched business owners work ridiculous hours to bring joy, confidence and community to other people’s lives. These awards exist because that level of impact deserves to be seen, valued and celebrated.

This is about lifting the industry, raising the bar and finally putting class based businesses in the spotlight they deserve.

This is bigger than an award

Let me be really clear about what this is and what it is not.

The Class Business Awards 2026 are not just about trophies or titles. They are about visibility, credibility and storytelling at a national level. They are bold. They are industry shaping. And for a handful of businesses, they will create 12 months of exposure, PR and recognition like they have never experienced before.

With over 20 award categories, we will be celebrating excellence across growth, innovation, community impact, inclusion, leadership and those providers who simply go above and beyond week in, week out. From small village classes to nationwide brands, these awards are open to businesses of every size and structure.

Key dates are already locked in. Entries open in February 2026, finalists will be announced in May and we will come together to celebrate at the awards ceremony on 3 October 2026. I already know it is going to be emotional, powerful and long overdue.
