Kelly Reynolds’ One-to-Many Story
There’s a moment most class-based business owners reach.
You’re busy.
You’re booked.
You’re doing good work.
But there’s a quiet question sitting in the background:
“Is this it?”
Not because you don’t love what you do — but because you know your income relies on you turning up every single time.
That’s exactly where Kelly Reynolds found herself.
From Children’s Activity Provider to “What Else Is Possible?”
Kelly started her journey in the children’s activity industry, running classes within a franchise. Like so many providers, she loved the delivery — the families, the sessions, the impact.
But behind the scenes, she also became the go-to person for tech, systems and problem-solving.
Websites.
Social media.
Automations.
The stuff that quietly eats time if you don’t understand it.
At the time, Kelly didn’t sit down and decide “I’m going to build a one-to-many business.”
She simply started noticing patterns.
And that’s where this story really begins.
Joining One to Many Without a Clear Idea
When Kelly joined the One to Many programme, she didn’t have a neat product mapped out.
She had:
- Lots of ideas
- Experience from different careers
- A sense that there was “more” she could do
- And a growing curiosity about passive and recurring income
What she didn’t have was certainty.
And that’s important — because one of the biggest myths around one-to-many is that you need to have everything figured out before you start.
Kelly didn’t.
In fact, some of her early ideas never became anything at all.
But what the programme gave her was something far more valuable than a single product idea.
It gave her a way of thinking.
One to Many Isn’t About Speed — It’s About Longevity
One of the strongest messages Kelly shares is this:
One to Many is not a quick win.
It’s not:
- “Join today, make money in six weeks”
- “Build one thing and you’re done”
- “Replace your income overnight”
What it is:
- Learning how to build assets
- Understanding how recurring revenue actually works
- Thinking long-term instead of week-to-week
- Creating options for your future self
Kelly used what she learned to improve how her original business worked first — before ever launching anything “passive”.
That alone made a difference.
The Turning Point: Backing Herself
There’s often a moment where learning turns into action.
For Kelly, that moment didn’t come from a worksheet — it came from belief.
At the same time she was questioning her future, real life was happening. Her car broke down. Decisions needed to be made. The security she thought she had suddenly felt shaky.
And during a live experience day — surrounded by people on similar journeys — something clicked.
She realised she didn’t need permission to try.
She didn’t need everything to be perfect.
She just needed to back herself.
That was the moment Kelly decided to step away from the franchise model and build something of her own.
Building the Business First — Then the Assets
Kelly didn’t jump straight into memberships and digital products.
Instead, she did what I always recommend:
She built one-to-one income first.
She:
- Took on retainers
- Stabilised her cash flow
- Grew an audience before trying to monetise it
- Learned Instagram properly (after being a proud Facebook fan!)
Only once she was fully booked did one-to-many become the next logical step — not an abstract idea.
Her first asset wasn’t a huge course or membership.
It was a simple, practical solution: an Instagram DM automation starter kit designed specifically for class providers who miss enquiries while teaching.
She planned to sell five.
She sold six.
That’s how assets start — small, useful, imperfect, and real.
Why Membership Comes Later (Not First)
Now fully booked with one-to-one clients, Kelly is building towards membership — not because it sounds good, but because it makes sense.
She wants to:
- Help more people
- Without adding more hours
- Share what she’s learned in a scalable way
- Build something that supports her long-term
And that’s the pattern I see again and again.
Membership works best when it’s built from experience — not pressure.
Thinking About One to Many?
If you’re reading this thinking:
- “I don’t have an idea yet”
- “I’m not ready”
- “This feels like a long game”
Kelly’s story is your permission slip.
You don’t need the final plan.
You don’t need certainty.
You don’t need to rush.
You just need to be open to what could be possible.
