I’m Catriona, a Certified Children’s Activity Business Strategist and owner of
BabyBeats Leeds Central East alongside branches of Mindful Movers and Functional
Foundations.

With nine years’ experience as a primary school teacher, working with children and
families has always been at the heart of what I do. I first discovered BabyBeats as a
mum myself, attending classes with my own babies, before retraining and becoming
an instructor.

Today, I run a busy mix of community classes, nursery contracts and corporate
wellbeing sessions across Leeds, giving me first-hand experience of the different
challenges and opportunities that come with running a children’s activity business
and as a working mother.

I know that being an activity provider isn’t just about delivering a brilliant class. It’s
about filling sessions, retaining customers, pricing, marketing, building relationships,
securing contracts and managing all of that alongside real family life.

As a strategist, I’m passionate about helping other children’s activity providers make
sense of the business side of what they do. My approach is warm, practical and
realistic – helping you focus on the things that will genuinely move your business
forward, without making it feel complicated or overwhelming.
